If words can have the power to take you to places, where would you go?

Hi, I am Rishita Dey from Kolkata, India and I am here to take you on an extraordinary journey to places near and far. Although by profession my days are filled with legal jargon, my passion found a very different genre of writing where your ‘feelings’ of experiencing a place get enhanced.  

Traveling is a very desirable way of exploring both within and outside yourself.  I started by writing at travel writing contests and then gradually gravitated toward the dream of having my blog. My love for writing and travel shook hands the day ‘Bend The Miles’ was born. 

But beware! Here you will not find answers to your basic four ‘W’s –
(a) When is the best time to travel? (b) Where to stay? (c) What is the cost? and (d) Why to go?

I leave that to the superior and supreme power of Google to answer. May he bless you with the correct information and not confuse the hell out of you!

Instead, my travel blogs are short (because the average attention span of a normal adult is 8 seconds!) and try to address five of your basic senses:
(1) Sight (2) Sound (3) Smell (4) Taste and (5) Touch
